ISD calls as cheap as 1 buck a min......right at your doorstep

Yes Yes...........You're not dreaming
Calling an international number from India is going to be cheaper than even a local call to mobile. MTNL , in association with Aksh Optifibres Limited, has introduced its VOIP services. The service would be known as Pigeon. This service would allow ISD calls to be as cheap as Re1/min. For users like me, who spend a lot in calling International destinations, its a grab at once opportunity. Till now, i've selected Airtel as my international carrier, which charges me Rs2.99/min to USA,UK,Canada and Landlines in Europe, after paying Rs79 per month as monthly rental on my cellphone.
Pigeon charges Rs100 as registration and installment charges(which are seperate from the MTNL landline installment charges), and after that Rs200 per month(which is roughly around 5US$) per month. More info is available on www.pigeonvoip.com
