I-Day Note

Today, on the 62nd Indian Independence Day, i congratulate all Indians spread throughout the world. It really feels good on this day when we look at the small but very important achievements Indians do for their nation. When facts like "Majority of staff in NASA are Indians" , "Indian kids outshine everyone in NASA's space settlement ddesign competition" , and "US cannot do without India" come across me, i find myself very proud to be a part of this ancient primary civilization. Hundred years back, Mahatma Gandhi had once said that once India has been freed, within the next fifty years, the British would have lost control of all their colonies, and know what , in 1992, with the creation of South Africa, he became correct(and India completed its 50th year of Independence in 1997). Such a powerful force India is !
And a special mention on this day to the defence forces. I salute the third largest army in the world for their struggle to preserve the Indian integrity and sovergnity . Their spirit and struggle can be seen easily in this really inspiring clip.
