A Lappy Repair Experience

Yesterday, i went to Asia's biggest computer market, Nehru Place , situated in New Delhi, India. My laptop had charging problems, hence i needed to go there to get it fixed. Initially, i went to the guy who checks out my pc. He said that the charger adapter was damaged and i had to buy a new one. Then i went to a specialist in laptops(as mentioned on the display board). He said that the charging port of the laptop, as well as the adapter were damaged, and both had to be repaired. In cas i only get the adapter changed, and not repairing the port, the charging point would get moulded and get stuck with the lappy's charging point. I decided to show the laptop to some more people who had the board of "laptop repair" mentioned on their boards. I refered them the same that the first laptop repair guy had said, and all the other people said that the lappy would work good and wouldnt give problems. I acted as the majority suggested and purchased a chinese adapter for Rs 650 from one of the shops.

While writing this blog, the new adapter's point has melted with the lappy, and now the lappy is a hazard to use. Its been 15mins now since i noticed this tragedy has happened to me. I had to hussle around for around 5hours just to find that the technicians have messed up the whole matter. Within less than 6hours of me returning back to home after a hectic day,i find that all the stupid technicians at nehru place did mess up the matter. Now i have to spend something around Rs1500 , one complete day, and even then my lappy might not be in top notch condition. I'd suggest all of you that you should take your precious laptop computer only to the company authorised service centre for getting them upgraded , or fixed. Desktops can be taken to such individual technicians, but laptops should never be taken to such people, after all they just might make the deal a hell costlier for you.
