Micromax launches W900

Recently came to know that Micromax had released its W900 handset. Here is what it looks like

On the first impression, it looks like Nokia 5800, but is quite different. Its desktop interface reminds me of HTC HD.

The phone runs on the old Windows Mobile 6.1,which simply means office capabilities with Office for Windows Mobile . This old OS is the one big con in the phone. The phone is quad band(i.e runs on four bandwidths),suports EDGE, has in-built GPS with Indian maps by Mapmyindia , and also has Wi-Fi capabilities, but no 3.5mm port. The camera is 2.0 Megapixels, and has a 3.2Inch touchscreen.

The phone is expected to be priced around Rs7500-9000.
